Famous Italian singer Andrea Bocelli has had his say on the state that Inter are currently in heading into the new Serie A season where they will be hoping to defend their Scudetto from last year under Antonio Conte, according to a report in the Italian media.
Speaking during the presentation of the ‘Heart Olympics’ in Forte dei Marmi, as reported by FcINternews, the classical singer showed that despite the turbulent time Inter have had with transfers, he still has faith in the manager going forward.
“I am worried, but important players have arrived and I have faith in Simone Inzaghi.”
The man who opened Euro 2020 in the Stadio Olimpico with a stunning rendition of Nessun Dorma also discussed the recent sale of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea.
“The loss of Romelu Lukaku is very heavy. But he is a serious guy who has given us a lot and will also give a lot to Chelsea.”
The Belgian striker’s sale has been the last straw for many Inter fans when it comes to their opinions of the Suning ownership. Many reports suggest the player was sold despite not actually wanting to leave the club.
