The upcoming week will be a decisive one when it comes to the future of young Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume as he will sign a new contract and then move on loan, according to a report in the Italian print media.
As has been reported by the Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the young Frenchman is going to put pen to paper on a new deal that will run until 2024.
Once that has been finalised he will move out on loan to try and get more first team experience under his belt. Lucien Agoume spent last season on loan in Serie A with Spezia, but he has reportedly decided he would like to head elsewhere this time.
The likely destination is his native France with a selection of Ligue 1 clubs all vying for his signature. This departure likely means that Roberto Gagliardini will not be leaving Inter as that would mean a lack of depth in midfield.
