The agent of Austrian wing-back Valentino Lazaro will be in Milan soon to meet with Inter about his client’s future.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the 25-year-old is not considered to have a future with the Nerazzurri, and the meeting will have as its purpose moving him towards a new club.

Lazaro has never firmly established himself in the Nerazzurri squad since joining from Hertha Berlin in the summer of 2019, and has looked to be on his way out for much of the summer.

The player’s agent rejected moves to the likes of Benfica and Eintracht Frankfurt in the hopes that he could stay at Inter and play his way into contention for the right-sided position at the club following the departure of Achraf Hakimi.

However, the Nerazzurri have turned to Denzel Dumfries as their solution to replace the Moroccan, and it is clear that Lazaro will not have a significant role in the team.

Accordingly, the player and his agent will work with the club to try and find a new destination for him where he can play regularly next season.
