Inter will wait until the injury recovery timeline for Alexis Sanchez is determined before they move for another striker this summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri are waiting to see how long the Chilean will be ruled out for before they make any final decisions on which attacking player will be brought in before the transfer window closes.

The Nerazzurri’s search for a forward is well underway, with the club having already brought in Roma’s Edin Dzeko and looking to sign one more attacking reinforcement to complete the options available to Simone Inzaghi.

Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata, Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram, Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne, and Lazio’s Joaquin Correa are all options, but each has particular qualities which they would add and would represent different tactical profiles.

Right now with Sanchez still dealing with a calf injury, the Nerazzurri will want to know when the 32-year-old can be counted on before they decide how to best proceed with completing their attack.
