Inter are still monitoring the situation of Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne, and will make a last-ditch effort to sign him before the transfer window closes.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the 30-year-old is still very much on the Nerazzurri’s radar and will be the subject of one more push this summer.

Insigne is out of contract with the Partenopei next summer, and with contract talks stalled with his current club could be brought in this summer with Napoli not wanting to lose him for free next summer.

The Nerazzurri are well aware of the possibility of this and have been monitoring him since it became clear that he does not look to set to sign a new deal with the Partenopei, though they have not yet made any decisive moves for him.

This could change before the transfer window shuts, however, with Inter ready to go in for him one more time.
