Lazio’s Joaquin Correa remains Inter’s top target as they look to quickly wrap up their search for an attacking arrival before the transfer window closes.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are pushing for the Argentine ahead of all other possible targets, and are getting closer to the Biancocelesti’s asking price with their offers.
Lazio’s current demand for Correa stands at €37 million, while the Nerazzurri have put forward €29-30 million with an additional €5 million, which could be enough to persuade the Biancocelesti.
The Argentine wants a move away from his current club and he only wants Inter as a destination having agreed terms with the Nerazzurri.
A deal could be reached very soon, with the player the preferred option of Nerazzurri head coach Simone Inzaghi and Lazio ready to sell for the right price, and all that remains is for the fee to be worked out conclusively between the clubs.
