Lautaro Martinez is set to make his season debut for Inter tomorrow alongside summer signing Edin Dzeko, with the pair expected to occupy the forward roles in manager Simone Inzaghi’s starting lineup for the Hellas Verona clash.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who predict that the Argentine will jump straight into the starting lineup after missing the opener against Genoa, and that new signing Joaquin Correa will be on the bench.

Martinez was ruled out of the Genoa encounter through suspension after picking up an accumulation of yellow cards towards the beginning of last season, and was also recovering from a minor muscle problem.

However, the 24-year-old is fully recovered from his minor injury and looks set to make his first competitive start under Inzaghi.

Dzeko is likely to feature alongside him, having already played from the start against Genoa against whom he scored a debut goal, while the rest of the lineup is set to be unchanged from the Genoa clash.

The Corriere predict that the starting eleven will line up as follows: Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Lautaro, Dzeko.
