Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport is sure: the deal between Massimo Moratti and Erick Thohir will be finalized on the 29th of October when Inter hold a General Assembly for the clubs shareholders. If a ratification of this deal were to linger beyond this date then there is no time from a technical aspect, to inject fresh capital into the club to cover last years loss of 81 million Euro’s, a sum which has turned out to be greater than expected.
The new Indonesian owners are expected to be present during this meeting. The new owners will retain 70% of the clubs stocks through a holding company which is registered on the Jakarta stock exchange but which has it’s head offices in London.
