Inter boss Simone Inzaghi will likely start the match against Sampdoria this weekend with Edin Dzeko upfront and Stefano Sensi just behind him, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the Bosnian striker is the man in the best physical condition to start the match due to the long distances travelled by others during the international break.
Lautaro Martinez, Joaquin Correa, and Alexis Sanchez will all only be able to make the bench for the weekends game in Genoa. For the two Argentine’s this is because they will only return from their international duty 36 hours before the match.
This could play into Simone Inzaghi’s hands because the first Champions League match of the season against Real Madrid is on the following Wednesday which means he can keep the two Argentine forwards fresh for that game that should be more challenging.
