Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to make significant squad rotations during the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Empoli on Wednesday.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the likes of Federico Dimarco, Alexis Sanchez, and Danilo D’Ambrosio are among those players who could come into the side as the Nerazzurri travel to Tuscany to face the newly promoted side.
Ivan Perisic appeared to suffer from some fatigue during the Nerazzurri’s match against Juventus yesterday before he was removed from the pitch, and Inzaghi could turn to Federico Dimarco to take over from him on the left.
Meanwhile, the coach will also be mindful of the possibility of over-using some of his key players during the difficult and busy period of the schedule and could turn to players who have not been used much so far this campaign.
Forward Alexis Sanchez and Defender Danilo D’Ambrosio in particular are among those who could come into the side on Wednesday.
