Inter President Steven Zhang is planning to address the entire Nerazzurri squad and staff with a Christmas greeting and to congratulate them on their form this season in the next day or two.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the President will give a speech via video link tomorrow or on Tuesday.

Zhang has not been able to travel to Italy as he’d like due to strict travel regulations in China related to COVID-19.

However, the President has still been closely involved with the team’s affairs, and he has been very pleased with what he has seen from the team on and off the pitch so far this campaign.

Despite a summer of major upheaval brought on by financial issues, the Nerazzurri are leading the way in Serie A and have reached the Champions League round of sixteen for the first time in a decade.

Zhang will send his holiday greetings to the entire staff, playing and otherwise, in his speech and also plans to thank everyone and express his happiness with how well the team has performed.
