Ivan Perisic has been one of Inter’s form players for the season so far, and this has been apparent in his goalscoring exploits among other aspects of his play.

This is highlighted by Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who note that the 32-year-old has already equalled his goalscoring tally for all of last season in just under half of this campaign’s total matches played.

Perisic was on target once again against Salernitana in Inter’s away clash with the newly-promoted side, opening the scoring with a header from a corner on the way to a 5-0 rout.

This was the fourth time that the Croatian wing-back got on the scoresheet in Serie A this season, as he has gotten in on the act of the Nerazzurri’s overall prolific season in front of goal.

Perisic managed this total in only sixteen matches played, whereas last campaign it took him 32 matches played in total to find the back of the net four times.
