Inter are considering a move for either Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic or one of Paris Saint-Germain pair Layvin Kurzawa or Abdou Diallo in January.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri could look to bring in a left-sided player to back up Ivan Perisic in the squad once the transfer window opens.

Inter have yet to come close to an agreement on a contract extension with Perisic, whose current deal expires at the end of June 2022.

The club are starting to consider their options for long-term replacements for the Croat but also for potential reinforcements to deputize for him in the squad starting from next month.

Kostic remains the main target to take over from the 32-year-old, though the club could also try and swoop for him in January.

However, the 29-year-old is likely to arrive only if Perisic leaves next summer, and the club are not likely to move for him should they feel that there is a good chance of renewing with Perisic.

Moreover, the Serb is also a target for a number of clubs in the Premier League.

PSG duo Diallo and Kurzawa are also players in the Nerazzurri’s consideration to bring in as early as January to back up Perisic, with both players reportedly up for sale by the Parisians.

Lastly, young Empoli defender Fabiano Parisi is another long-term consideration for the left side based on his form for the newly-promoted side this season.
