Inter are still interested in signing Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto and defender Luiz Felipe, both of whom could leave the Biancocelesti in the upcoming transfer windows.
This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Nerazzurri are keeping a close watch on the Biancocelesti pair with a view to possibly reinforcing their squad.
The Nerazzurri had considered a move for Alberto last summer, with coach Simone Inzaghi keen on a reunion with the midfielder who he enjoyed success together with at Lazio.
The Biancocelesti’s asking price for the 29-year-old kept the Nerazzurri from a move, but with the player not enjoying the best relationship with current Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri, he could be available for less in the coming windows.
Meanwhile, Felipe’s current deal with Lazio is set to expire at the end of June, and Inzaghi would like for the club to sign the 24-year-old as they reinforce their backline next summer.
