Inter could make a move for Genoa striker Felipe Caicedo in a bid to increase their attacking depth following Joaquin Correa’s injury, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Colombian forward is a player that would be very keen to link up with Simone Inzaghi again. The pair worked together during Felipe Caicedo’s 105 appearances for Lazio.

His move for Genoa has not gone to plan and he has so far made just seven appearances for the Grifone, scoring one goal.

Joaquin Correa suffered what appears to be a serious thigh injury against Empoli on Wednesday night in the Coppa Italia so Inter are considering entering the market for a striker to give them their depth back.

Felipe Caicedo developed a reputation for late goals when coming off the bench during his time at Lazio. Inter youngster Eddie Salcedo is another option to recall from Spezia.
