Marco Andreolli was interviewed by Inter Channel after having made his first competitive fixture seince signing for Inter in the summer. “It isn’t easy to come on when it’s this cold, also because we weren’t far off from the final whistle. It’s necessary, however, to always be prepared, I knew that there is a lot of competition for the places on the team as we have some fantastic players. I knew how it was going to be, I was already prepared mentally. In these months I’ve always tried to work as hard as I can, to learn, to pick up what the coach wants from me. I’ve returned to be available whenever the team needs me.”
“How much I’ve learned these past few months? I work next to a fantastic group of players and also with a great coach you grow and improve, I have to always keep doing this. Even at the age of 35-36 you have to improve as well as listen to the coach as it’s fundamentaly important. I’m not particularly emotional or excited, I only want to help the team to win.”
Andreolli is a great player. I hope he plays from the start next game. Hopefully, he’ll never leave the starting line up again. I have high hopes for him.
