Felipe Caicedo is not an elite striker but he can give Inter some very important help in the second half of the season, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, the Colombian forward is now 33-years-old and is not going to improve anymore.
That being said, he can be very useful for Inter this season should they suffer any more injuries in attack or want to introduce a different type of striker late in a game when they need a goal.
He made a habit of scoring late winning goals when coming off the bench for Lazio under Simone Inzaghi and the Nerazzurri will be hoping for a similar impact at San Siro.
Simone Inzaghi very much wanted Felipe Caicedo to join on loan from Genoa this winter and given how well he is doing, fans and executives are inclined to listen to him.
