Beppe Riso, agent of young Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi, has confirmed that the 22-year-old is the subject of interest from big clubs amid strong links to Inter.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, the agent explained that the Neroverdi were never interested in selling him last month, but that he could be on his way in the summer.
Frattesi looks to be one of Inter’s main objectives to strengthen their midfield in the summer, especially with the likes of Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino set to depart from the club at the end of the season.
The Nerazzurri have reportedly already been working towards the signing of the 22-year-old, although a deal for him during the January transfer window never looked to be likely.
However, as his agent Riso made clear, the midfielder could well be available at the end of the campaign when the summer transfer window opens.
“Sassuolo weren’t interested in talks over him in January even though some big clubs were after him,” he stated. “We’ll talk about it again in the summer.”
