Former Chievo Verona and Palermo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino believes Inter are almost a perfect team and must forget about what happened against AC Milan, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with the Febbre a 90 show on Vikonos Web Radio broadcast yesterday afternoon, via FCInter1908, Stefano Sorrentino explained that Inter have to forget the aftermath of the game against AC Milan when they face Napoli on Saturday evening.

“Inter will have to forget the aftermath of the lost derby, they won against Roma, of course, the game never made history in itself. The championship says that Inter are almost perfect, as they were also in the derby but Milan won.

“In the championship, however, it will also affect the performance of those who go far in the cups, the road is long.”

Stefano Sorrentino also had praise for Napoli and specifically their coach, Luciano Spalletti and the depth of the squad that he now has available to him.

“Congratulations to Spalletti, he did an extraordinary, very important job, the wider squad is of the highest level, we won’t find out tomorrow but the championship is long and everyone will be needed.”

Napoli can move two points ahead of Inter if they manage to take all three points at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Saturday evening.

The Azzurri will be without Hirving Lozano but Inter have a bigger miss as Alessandro Bastoni is suspended for the game and he is also injured.
