Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has been reluctant to put his trust in midfielder Stefano Sensi due to his physical problems.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 26-year-old’s Nerazzurri future is in doubt as the coach feels that his injury concerns have made him unreliable.

Sensi’s quality has never been in doubt, but he his time at the Nerazzurri has been plagued by injuries which have meant that his role in the team has been stop-start.

Against Sampdoria at the beginning of the season, the midfielder came on as a substitute in the second half, but had to come off injured, leaving his team to finish the match with ten men.

Inzaghi was not happy with this, and even when Sensi looked to be fully fit, he found his playing time limited.

Now, the 26-year-old is on loan with Sampdoria, where he has started five of the Blucerchiati’s last six matches, and according to Tuttosport his future could be away from Inter even if he does not join the Ligurian side permanently.
