Danilo D’Ambrosio is set to start for Inter in this evening’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina at the San Siro.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who predict that the 33-year-old will start on the left of the back three with Milan Skriniar moved centrally in place of the injured Stefan de Vrij.

De Vrij is still injured with the calf problem which he picked up in the second leg of the Nerazzurri’s Champions League round of sixteen tie against Liverpool, and so he will not be fit to face La Viola.

The Dutchman had been replaced in the centre of the defense by Andrea Ranocchia in last weekend’s clash with Torino, but this time around the Gazzetta predicts that coach Simone Inzaghi will reshuffle his backline.

Meanwhile, the newspaper also predicts that Arturo Vidal will start alongside Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu in midfield as the Nerazzurri look to divide up the duties of the injured Marcelo Brozovic in the centre of the pitch.
