Argentine journalist Maks Cardena has claimed that Paulo Dybala remains on the verge of signing for Inter, and that the deal will be wrapped up when they make sales.
Reporting in a tweet, Cardena explained that the situation resembles that of the Nerazzurri’s signing of Arturo Vidal from Barcelona in the summer of 2020, which had to wait until they offloaded Diego Godin.
Dybala’s status remains in limbo, particularly after a deal was done to bring Romelu Lukaku back to the Nerazzurri on loan from Chelsea.
The amount of room in the squad, and the wage bill, simply isn’t there to bring the 28-year-old in at the moment, and it is uncertain if it will be made in time to bring him in before the transfer window ends.
According to Cardena, however, it is in fact only a matter of time before the Nerazzurri get things arranged so that they are able to complete a deal for Dybala.
“Dybala has agreed everything with Inter, that they must sell before signing him,” he wrote. “It’s a similar situation to that experienced by Vidal, who had to wait for the departure of Godin.”
#Dybala tiene todo acordado con el #Inter que tiene que vender antes de poder ficharlo.
Situación similar a la que vivió #Vidal en su momento con #Godín
