Italian journalist Maurizio Pistocchi has said that he feels Inter CEO Beppe Marotta already has an agreement in place for Paulo Dybala, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Speaking during an interview with FCInter1908, the journalist discussed the complicated situation that surrounds Paulo Dybala and his rumoured move to Inter this summer.
It has been known for a very long time that the former Juventus forward would like to sign for Inter on a free transfer and he has been very close to having an agreement on personal terms and for his agent’s fees.
Maurizio Pistocchi believes that there are very limited alternatives for Paulo Dybala than Inter and he thinks an agreement has likely been there for some time.
“I don’t see many alternatives for Dybala. The only one could come from Spain. I see him playing more in Spanish football than in the Premier League. Having said that, I think Marotta moved in good time with the Argentine’s entourage.
“I would be surprised if there wasn’t a long-standing agreement between Inter and the Dybala clan. I don’t think these things can be improvised, it being understood that these talks must take into account disposals.”
He pressed home the fact that Paulo Dybala was one of the most valuable forwards in the world very recently and he is currently available on a free transfer.
“It would be an expensive operation, but we are talking about a player who two years ago was valued at €100 million and who is now available for zero.”
