Inter have made clear to Paris Saint-Germain that they are only interested in a straight cash offer for Milan Skriniar as they look to sign Torino’s Bremer and another defender with the proceeds of the sale.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri want PSG to get as close as they can to their €80 million so that they can quickly move for defensive reinforcements.

PSG are closing in on a deal for Skriniar, and they finally look to be ready to give up on player-plus-cash offers for the 27-year-old, after the Nerazzurri have rejected all of their previous bids in no uncertain terms.

The deal could be wrapped up in the coming days for a substantial cash fee, and then the Nerazzurri will immediately move to complete a deal for Bremer, who has long been a major priority target.

The Brazilian will be offered a contract worth €3 million net per season, which he would be happy to accept, and then it will be time to convince Torino on the deal.

Given that the 25-year-old has been clear that he only wants a move to Inter, and would have a €15 million release clause become active during the January transfer window, the Granata will be motivated to agree a deal.

Along with Bremer arriving, the Nerazzurri will also move for one more defender once the Skriniar sale is done, with the candidates being Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu, and Borussia Dortmund duo Manuel Akanji and Dan-Axel Zagadou.
