Monza are pressing to sign striker Andrea Pinamonti from Inter, and would be ready to hold the meeting the get the deal done if the player accepts the move.
This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports on his homepage that the 23-year-old is increasingly convinced by the possibility of joining the newly-promoted club as Atalanta continue to go without getting a deal done for him.
Pinamonti is a major target for both Atalanta and Monza, but in the former case they are still dwelling on the futures of strikers Luis Muriel and Duvan Zapata.
Should La Dea not sell either of the two forwards, then they would struggle to be able to finance a deal for Pinamonti, whereas Monza are ready to make the Nerazzurri an offer that would be enough to close on a deal.
So far, the striker has yet to make the decision to accept a move to Monza, but if he does so then they will waste no time in meeting with Inter and wrapping up a deal.
