Former Lazio, Palermo, and Fiorentina head coach Delio Rossi feels that Inter and Juventus are the two teams who are the favourites for the Serie A title next season before the campaign gets underway.

Speaking to Italian news outlet MilanNews24, the coach gave the view that the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri are ahead of AC Milan to finish as champions despite the fact that the Rossoneri took home the title last season.

Inter narrowly missed out on the Scudetto last season to their city rivals, whilst Juventus were somewhat further back due to a very rough start to the campaign.

However, both of the two sides have made a number of significant signings during the summer transfer window and could further improve their squads, and there is widespread expectation that both will be fighting for the Scudetto.

Milan will be in with a real chance of it given the quality of their squad and what they proved last season, but for Rossi, it is the Nerazzurri adn the Bianconeri who are the real favourites.

“Right now, especially after the transfer window, Inter and Juventus are a step ahead of Milan,” he said of the upcoming Serie A title race.
