Paulo Dybala is still expecting that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta will get a deal over the line to bring him to the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Argentine believes that his relationship with Marotta will mean that the CEO pushes a move through in the end.

The personal relationship between Dybala and Marotta, who signed the Argentine for Juventus in the summer of 2015, has long been a major factor in the Nerazzurri’s pursuit of him on a free transfer.

Additionally, there is also a positive relationship between the 28-year-old and Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti, which has made it even more of a priority for the player to join the Inter.

The talks unexpectedly broke down last month just as a move to the Nerazzurri looked inevitable, but the player continues to hold out hope and feels that Marotta will make the deal happen.

Meanwhile, even though there is already no shortage of attacking options at the club, the Nerazzurri could see signing Dybala as giving them some insurance for the future considering that Edin Dzeko will turn 37 during the upcoming season and Romelu Lukaku is technically only on loan from Chelsea.
