Alexis Sanchez’s absence from Inter’s squad in yesterday evening’s friendly clash with Monaco was yet another clear indication that his future is far away from the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that it is only a matter of time before Inter agree a departure for the Chilean, who was not called up for yesterday’s match.

Sanchez is not in the plans for next season and has been expected to leave the Nerazzurri for a long time, but for the time being he remains an Inter player as the club have not managed to make him a convincing offer to terminate his contract by mutual consent.

This may not be the case for much longer, however, as the 33-year-old is not playing a role in the preparations for the upcoming season, something which can only serve to push him to find a place for himself elsewhere.
