Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is seriously contemplating the interest from French giants Marseille, and could decide to accept their offer and leave the Nerazzurri with a severance payment of €4-5 million.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 33-year-old is thinking about finally resolving his future after some uncertainty.

Sanchez has not been convinced by any of the possible destinations for next season yet, and so his Nerazzurri exit has been difficult.

However, Marseille have shown an interest in signing the Chilean to strengthen their squad for the Champions League, first under Sanchez’s old Chilean national team coach Jorge Sampaoli and now once again under Sampaoli’s replacement Igor Tudor.

Sanchez is not completely closed off to the Ligue 1 side as a possible new destination, and this could finally facilitate his departure from Inter as he has so far categorically rejected the possibility of leaving with severance pay.
