The next few days are set to be decisive in Inter’s pursuit of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
This according to today’s print edition of Florence-based newspaper Corriere Fiorentino, who report that La Viola are holding out for a fee of €15-20 million for the 24-year-old and that the situation should become clearer over the coming days.
Inter have made Milenkovic one of their major defensive targets for the summer transfer window, and Fiorentina would be willing to sell the Serb though only for the right offer.
The Tuscans have lined up Ajax defender Per Schuurs as a replacement in the event that Milenkovic is to be on his way, although they also have French side Rennes trying to sign another defender from them in the form of Igor.
The Nerazzurri’s pursuit of Milenkovic is well underway, but they may not be able to wait around forever and the next few days could be the crucial ones.
