Wingback duo Federico Dimarco and Denzel Dumfries were Inter’s two best performers in yesterday evening’s 2-2 friendly draw with Lyon in the view of Italian media.
The pair were each given 7/10 scores in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, whilst defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Stefan de Vrij were the two players with the lowest grades.
Inter’s squad were broadly given solid grades for their performances in yesterday’s friendly, but it was Dimarco who particularly shone in the view of the Gazzetta, who praise the 24-year-old for the consistent threat that his deliveries offered and name him as the man of the match.
Meanwhile, Dumfries came in for similar praise as the Dutchman’s attacking threat and positive deliveries into the box were also noted.
Defender de Vrij was given just a 5/10 score as he could have done a lot better on Alexandre Lacazette’s opener, while Bastoni also looked far from his best as he failed to convince in the first half.
