Inter could sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic as well as a wingback in the event that Denzel Dumfries is sold this summer.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri would be ready to strengthen the defense in addition to replacing Dumfries if the Dutchman leaves.

Inter will not want to sell Dumfries for anything less than a huge fee, with the club slapping a €50 million price tag on him amid the interest of big teams in the Premier League, particularly Chelsea.

Should Chelsea or another team be absolutely determined to sign the 26-year-old and make an offer of this size, however, the Nerazzurri would have a plan.

Milenkovic would be moved for to add depth in defense, rather than looking for a lower-cost option, and in addition a wingback would be signed, with the main target being Udinese’s Destiny Udogie who would play on the left, moving Matteo Darmian back to the right to replace Dumfries.
