Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi is getting closer and closer to leaving the Biancocelesti, with all of Inter, AC Milan, and Juventus considering a move for him.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 34-year-old is not a major target for any of the three, but that they are following his situation as he is likely to leave Lazio.

Acerbi could be left out of Lazio’s official squad for their Serie A opener against Bologna tomorrow, which would be another step towards confirming what had long been suspected, that he is not a part of the plans for Maurizio Sarri’s team for this season.

The 34-year-old’s destination would not immediately be clear, however, with newly-promoted Monza eyeing him up whilst some of Serie A’s top sides could also move late in the window.

As of yet, none of the Nerazzurri, the Rossoneri, or the Bianconeri have really stepped up, but there is still time as Acerbi gets closer and closer to leaving the Italian capital.
