Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has told his club that he would like to join Inter this summer but RB Leipzig are also in the picture now, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the English defender is very willing to join the Nerazzurri on a loan deal and Inter are doing all that they can to get a deal over the line.
There was contact between the intermediaries and Inter on Wednesday and that is where it became clear that Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are trying to sign Trevoh Chalobah too. That is a concern for Inter as they have much more financial power than the Nerazzurri right now.
Chelsea still want €3 million for a dry loan so Inter are going to wait until next week and if there is no reduction from Chelsea or Borussia Dortmund for Manuel Akanji, then they will close the operation with Lazio for Francesco Acerbi to add depth.
