Erick Thohir who is enjoying his vacation with his family in Rome was interviewed by ADNKronos talked about Walter Mazzarri and the rumours of the last week that he wants to replace the coach:
“Mazzarri is very professional and a great coach. He has mine and the boards full faith. He also has the faith from the rest of the club and the players, this together with his skills makes him the right man in the right place. His project at Inter has just started and together we will find the right way to reach our goals. Neither me or my staff have though about contacting other coaches, there is no need for that. Tonights game? At the San Paolo we will play a hard but not a decisive game.”
Thohir then spoke about his relation to Massimo Moratti that some media wanted to point out as “cold”:
“A fight between us? Absolutely not, those are rumours that aren’t true at all. The harmony and the respect between me and the Moratti family is total. The relation can’t be discussed and it becomes better for every day that passes.”
