Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has said that it would be a strategical mistake from Simone Inzaghi if he did not start Andre Onana against Sassuolo, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking on his social media, via FCInter1908, Fabrizio Biasin explained that he has no uncertainty that Andre Onana should now be the number one goalkeeper for the Nerazzurri.

“The teammates are in agreement: keeping Onana out now is a mistake by Inzaghi, especially from a ‘strategic’ point of view.”

So far since his arrival, the Cameroonian goalkeeper has only played in the three Champions League group games whilst Samir Handanovic has been starting all of the Serie A matches.

He was very impressive in the game against Barcelona and many fans and pundits alike feel that this is the moment where a decision has been made.

The early suggestions of team news suggest that Andre Onana will be starting the match but Simone Inzaghi is known to be relatively conservative when it comes to his team selections.
