Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana has said that it was a tough match against Barcelona but the focus must turn to the Serie A game at the weekend, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Mediaset Infinity after the 3-3 draw against Barcelona, via FCInter1908, Andre Onana refused to spend too long focusing on the Champions League as Inter have got to face Salernitana on Sunday afternoon.

Salernitana are having a promising season so far as they sit in 11th place, which means that Inter cannot afford to let their guard down in the lunch match at the San Siro on Sunday.

Andre Onana started off by saying that it was a difficult match to play at Camp Nou but they got the result that they wanted.

“A tough match with difficulties, away from home. It was the result we wanted, we are satisfied with the result.”

He then added that they have a difficult match at home to focus on next and that he is not phased by being booed by Barcelona fans.

“Now we have a difficult match at home, it will be important for us to win.

“Booing? For me it’s normal, I’m used to playing in situations like that, I’m used to it, my job is to do well and think about playing and the good of the team.

“We made a big sacrifice as a team and we have to work to win.”
