Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is yet to decide who to start out of Italian international defender Francesco Acerbi, and Dutch international defender Stefan de Vrij against Juventus on Sunday.
This according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin based Tuttosport, claiming that the Nerazzurri coach only really has one doubt as to who to start on Sunday away at Allianz Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 20.45 CET.
Stefan de Vrij, whose contract expires at the end of this season in June 2023, started the season poorly but has since then picked up his performances, especially in the Champions League.
The Dutchman, who joined Inter on a free transfer from Lazio in the summer of 2018, scored the opener in last weekend’s Serie A clash against Sampdoria which Inter won 3-0.
Aside from that Simone Inzaghi will start his usual starters, the report continues, with André Onana in goal, Federico Dimarco on the left flank and Lautaro Martinez partnering Edin Dzeko up front.
Acerbi also joined Inter from Lazio but on a season long loan this past summer and has to date featured 11 times across all competitions but is yet to open his account in terms of goals.
The Azzurri Euro 2020 winner, spent four season at the Biancocelesti, three of which was under current Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi, and collected 173 appearances across all competitions scoring 10 goals in the process.
