Inter could offer striker Edin Dzeko a contract extension once contract negotiations are completed with Milan Skriniar.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri could decide to make securing the Bosnian’s future the next item on their agenda based on his performances this season.

Dzeko had not necessarily been expected to be offered a new contract past the end of his current deal, which expires at the end of June 2023 as things stand.

However, the 36-year-old has continued to prove his worth on the pitch, particularly in the absence of Romelu Lukaku through injury.

Accordingly, Mediaset report, the club are seriously thinking about trying to secure the former Roma, Manchester City, and Wolfsburg’s future past the end of the current campaign.

The report states that a new deal could be offered soon already, with the contract negotiations with Skriniar and his representatives likely to be concluded in the coming days.
