Inter-owned striker Sebastiano Esposito’s agent expects that over the next few weeks, it will become clear where the 20-year-old will spend the rest of the season.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it, Esposito’s agent Mario Giuffredi explained that he is working with the Nerazzurri to find a new club for the striker, and backed him to show his quality over the rest of the season.

Esposito’s time on loan with Belgian side Anderlecht looks to be definitively over.

The 20-year-old has not find the playing time he’d expected for the Belgians, and he is now back in Italy, with reports suggesting that all parties are ready to end the season-long loan spell early.

Giuffredi’s words provide further confirmation of this, whilst the agent also confirms that a new club will be sought for the striker for the rest of the season.

It will remain to be seen where Esposito plays once the club season resumes following the return from the World Cup.

“He still has lots of time to change people’s minds about him,” Esposito’s agent said, “remember, he’s still only twenty.”

The agent continued, “He can return to Italy at a high level, in the coming weeks we’ll make a decision about the right destination for him.”
