Torino are hoping to sign Inter winger Valentino Lazaro on a permanent deal next summer after a successful loan spell, but his price tag is proving to be a stumbling block.
According to FCInterNews.it, the Granata have been impressed with Lazaro’s contribution to their campaign since bringing him in on loan at the start of the season, and coach Ivan Juric wants to secure him permanently after deploying him in 17 matches already in all competitions.
Whilst Torino are ready to sign the Austria international, they are put off by the buyout clause in the deal that sent him to Turin on loan, with Inter demanding €6 million to sell him.
The Granata are hoping to negotiate a discount with Inter in order to keep Lazaro, although the Nerazzurri are yet to make a decision as to whether they will lower their asking price.
It is hoped that Lazaro’s good form will prompt other clubs to show an interest and pay the full fee, and so they are in no rush to meet Torino’s request.
