Liverpool are hoping to complete a deal to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat during the January transfer window, whilst Inter and Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping an eye on his situation.
This according to Spanish news outlet Fichajes.net, via L’Interista, who report that the Reds don’t want to wait around to sign the 25-year-old Moroccan international, whilst the Nerazzurri are also interested.
Amrabat’s form with Morocco at the World Cup in Qatar has led to significant transfer interest in the Fiorentina midfielder.
The 25-year-old has been one of the key players as his national side have reached the semifinals of the competition.
La Viola are not keen to sell Amrabat, and are even considering offering him a contract extension to ward off the transfer interest that has emerged around him.
However, should the Tuscans be unable to keep hold of the Moroccan and he decide that he wants to seek a new challenge, Liverpool would be keen to swoop as early as next month.
Meanwhile, Inter and Tottenham are both also targeting Amrabat.
