Inter are planning to get a deal finalized to sell wingback Denzel Dumfries before the end of June 2023, when the current fiscal year ends.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri want to cash in on the 26-year-old, who is a major target for Chelsea, in order to avoid having to sacrifice another big name player like Milan Skriniar.

The transfer interest in Dumfries is growing.

Inter are ready to set the asking price for the Dutchman at around €60 million after his World Cup.

Bringing in a big fee for Dumfries would go a long way towards meeting financial targets at the Nerazzurri.

Given Inter’s failure to make a big name sale in the summer to reach their financial target of around €60 million net profit, they must find a way to bring the money in before the end of the current fiscal year.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri may not waste much time in selling Dumfries.
