Inter and AC Milan will give their response to the request by the City Council of Milan to make changes to their new stadium plans by January 18.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the ball is now in the court of the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri after the City Council approved the clubs’ plans but only if changes are to be made.

The City Council of Milan voted yesterday to approve Inter and Milan’s new stadium plans if they are to make changes based on recommendations that emerged from the public debate which ended last month.

The clubs have been asked to increase the capacity of the new stadium, particularly the amount of lower-cost seating, and also to include more green space in the area.

Now, it will be put to the clubs to consider the requests of the City Council, and respond, which should take place in a new meeting on January 18.
