Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has given the Nerazzurri squad a few days of over Christmas.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri players will be given a short break to be with their families over the holidays, before being expected to return to training on December 26.
Inter’s squad have been in training for much of the World Cup break, and also played a friendly match against Reggina yesterday evening.
However, the players will be granted a short break before they are expected back for the final push to prepare for the return of the Serie A season in January.
The players are not expected in training today, although a few players did work individually to gain fitness, namely those players recovering from injury and Stefan de Vrij.
The Nerazzurri return to Serie A action in a couple weeks in a clash with league leaders Napoli on January 4.
