The Marketing Manager of Inter’s official infotainment partner LeoVegas.com feels that it is possible that the betting company could take over as the Nerazzurri’s main shirt sponsor in the future.
Speaking to Italian news outlet SportItalia, via FCInterNews, LeoVegas Marketing Manager Adele Incerti spoke about the possibility that the company could be the one to replace DigitalBits on the front of Inter’s matchday shirt.
Rumours have emerged that LeoVegas could be the company to replace DigitalBits as Inter’s main shirt sponsor.
The company already have a partner with the Nerazzurri as their official infotainment partner, and their logo has appeared on the team’s training kits.
However, for LeoVegas to become Inter’s main shirt sponsor, the ban in Italy on gambling-related sponsorships of football shirts would first have to be lifted.
For Incerti’s part, a move to being the Nerazzurri’s main shirt sponsor would certainly be something to consider for the future.
“As far as the shirt sponsorship goes, we were the training sponsor for the team’s retreat in Malta,” Incerti noted.
“In terms of switching to the main shirt sponsor, it’s something we would consider for the future.”
