Inter Putting Pressure On Milan Skriniar Not To Wait Much Longer To Give Response To Contract Extension Offer, Italian Broadcaster Reports

Inter are putting pressure on defender Milan Skriniar not to delay his response to their contract extension offer for much longer.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who reported this afternoon that the Nerazzurri have made clear to the 27-year-old that they expect a response in a timely manner.

Inter’s contract extension offer to Skriniar and his representatives has been on the table for some time, but the player has yet to give a definitive response.

The Nerazzurri have most recently met with the Slovakian’s agent shortly before Christmas.

The meeting made clear that the player is still willing to extend his deal, but that he is yet to be fully convinced and wants to take time to consider his options.

Inter expect a response from Skriniar some time next month, and for their part they hope that it is not long after January 1.

The Nerazzurri have tried to impress this clearly upon the player.
