Lille defender Tiago Djalo and Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard have emerged as Inter’s two main targets to replace Milan Skriniar during the summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corrierre dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have largely settled on the pair as suitable potential replacements for the Slovakian on the right side of their back three.
Inter’s search for Skriniar’s heir on the right of the defense will be one of the key themes of the club’s summer transfer window.
Pavard had already been a player linked during the January transfer window as a possible replacement if Skriniar were to be on his way as soon as last month.
The Nerazzurri were unable to agree a deal with Bayern for the Frenchman, however, and now it will remain to be seen whether or not they can do so in the summer, as the Bavarians are still keen to extend the player’s contract past the end of June 2024.
Meanwhile, if Inter are unable to sign Pavard, Lille defender Djalo is also considered to be a major target.
