Inter’s backline looked solid as ever to keep a clean sheet in yesterday’s Serie A draw away to Sampdoria, but at the other end of the pitch the team looked out of form.

This is the verdict in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, whose player ratings diverge between the defenders and the more attack-minded players.

Inter defender Milan Skriniar received a 7/10 score from Tuttosport for a typically physical and assured performance against Sampdoria’s attacking players, whilst Acerbi was deemed worthy of a 6.5/10 grade.

However, Romelu Lukaku was given a score of just 5.5/10 for a performance in which the striker failed to make much of an impact, whilst Edin Dzeko came on to replace him and was given just a 5/10 score.

Lautaro Martinez came in for even harsher criticism, given a 4.5/10 grade after some bad-looking whiffed chances, and this same score was also given to wingback Robin Gosens who failed to help the team break down Sampdoria down his left flank.
