Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is determined to play the full 90 minutes against Udinese in Serie A this evening in an effort to prove himself to the club.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Belgium international has not played a full match since the opening day of the season, after enduring numerous physical problems since returning from Chelsea on loan last summer.

However, the former Manchester United striker is convinced that he can prove his worth to Inter if he is able to put together a run of games, with greater match sharpness allowing him to rediscover his form after just two goals all season.

Whilst Lukaku is not set to demand playing time from coach Simone Inzaghi, he hopes to be given the opportunity to remain on the pitch for the entire match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The 29-year-old will also seek to convince Inzaghi to select him for Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Porto, with the coach currently veering towards a partnership of Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko.
